The European Travel Commission is a non-profit organisation representing the national tourism organisations of Europe. Our 36-member tourism boards work together to build the value of tourism across diverse European destinations through cooperation in best-practice sharing, market intelligence, and promotion.

Research

ETC empowers European destinations through monitoring tourism trends and benchmarking studies.

Our broad research portfolio supports members by gathering and reporting data on the evolution of European destinations, promoting best practices, and fostering knowledge exchange.

ETC follows the principle of train-the-trainers by developing the skills of destination developers. By improving the skills among members, ETC can help manage tourism in Europe and ensure they are equipped with the tools to build a prosperous and sustainable tourism ecosystem.
